For my FMP I chose to create a 28 page comic book.
The story of the comic book is based on the real life story of the Brazilian farmer, Antônio Villas Boas.
However, I decided to give the project more of a music twist after my research on the musician, Tom DeLonge. A person with a very interesting relation to Aliens and the study of extraterrestrials.
For the music side of the project, I replaced the original interest in farming to music. I placed the main character in a fictional band and started to create works to do with this fictional band. For example, a cassette of songs the band made, flyers promoting their fictional cassette and flyers for the fictional music venue. My goal with the music side of the project was to try and mix the reality I created in the comic with the real world.
